About Our Practice

Center for Cosmetic & General Dentistry Team

Our practice was established in downtown Owensboro, KY, in 1953 by Dr. George William Wilson, Jr. In 1986 he was joined by his son, Dr. David Wilson, and the two practiced together until Dr. Bill’s retirement in 1995.

In 1991, a fire broke out on the third floor of the original office, destroying our building. Our current office was completed in 1992. Designed by the renowned dental architects at Total Health Environments of Austin, TX, our goal was to open the most advanced, safest, and comfortable dental office possible.

In 2017, Dr. David’s daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Wilson, joined the practice, and in 2018, they were joined by Dr. Elizabeth’s husband, Dr. David Woodward.

Dr. David Wilson counts having them as partners in his practice as one of the highlights of his life.
